Frequently Ask Questions

Mobiles for Business

Can I change my contract mid-term?

A tariff can be changed within a contractual term as long as the tariff cost remains the same or increases.

Can I keep my mobile number?

Your current mobile provider can arrange a Port Authority Code (PAC code) to enable the switch to JAMit Solutions. When JAMit Solutions process your new contract the PAC is submitted, and we transfer your number at a time convenient to your business (Monday to Friday).

What is the benefit of joining JAMit Solutions rather than going to a provider directly?

If I have a problem who do I call?

Call us first, as your account is managed by your dedicated Account Manager and the First Contact Team. Give us a call and we’ll get the issue sorted.

Internet Connectivity

What types of internet connections are available for businesses?

Options include Fiber, Leased Lines, SOGEA, Cable, 4G/5G, and Satellite.

Which internet connection is best for my business?

It depends on your business size, usage, and budget. Leased lines offer reliability, while fiber is cost-effective.  Contact us and we can work with you to identitfy the most suitable connection.

Is business internet more reliable than residential internet?

Yes, it often comes with better speeds, lower contention ratios, and service level agreements (SLAs).

Does the cheapest internet plan offer good service?

Not always. Reliability, support, and speed should be considered over price alone.

How long does installation take?

Fiber broadband takes a few weeks, while leased lines can take 6-12 weeks.  Installation can be delayed if there are any additional works required, but this will be highlighted whena survey is done.

What happens if there’s a delay in installation?

We will communicate updates to you and look at temporary solutions like 4G/5G backup.

What happens if my internet goes down?

Business plans offer faster repair times, and backup connections help avoid downtime.

Can I upgrade my internet speed later?

Yes, we offer scalable plans.

What happens if my business moves locations?

You may need a new contract or temporary setup while the service is moved.
